1. What made you start learning Korean?

I wanted to learn a new language for fun and thought it would be cool to understand K-pop lyrics. I started searching for ways to study Korean online, and since I was a total beginner, I figured I’d just give this a shot.

2. How was your experience with Seoul X On?

It was a good experience. I was worried I’d feel lost because I knew nothing, but the tutor was patient and went through everything step by step. The lesson was easy to follow, and by the end of the session, I could actually sound out the alphabet. I liked that the environment felt relaxed and didn't have any pressure.

3. What's the biggest change in your Korean?

Being able to read Hangul is definitely the biggest change. I haven’t memorized everything yet, but it’s cool to look at the characters and know how to pronounce them. Even if I'm just pretending to know what I’m reading for now, recognizing the letters feels great.

4. Who would you recommend Seoul X On to?

I started with the free trial and liked it enough to keep going. I’m taking classes with teacher Soyoon now, and she's awesome. I’d definitely recommend it to any beginners like me who just want to learn for fun.
